Write to info@flagfinder.co.za. A person reads it. Say which device and app version you are on (the version is at the bottom of the sync sheet in the app), and what you expected to happen.
Before you write
I forgot my master password
It cannot be reset. The journal is encrypted with it and we never see it. If another of your devices is still paired and unlocked, keep using that one and set up this device again from it. If not, the journal on this device is unreadable and you will have to start a new one.
My devices are not syncing
Open the sync sheet on both devices and tap sync now. Both must hold the same master password and have been paired with the QR ticket. On the same Wi-Fi, iOS will ask once for local-network permission; if you declined it, turn it back on in Settings → Memorious. Without a direct path, sync falls back to the relay, which is slower but works anywhere online.
Voice notes are not transcribed, photos are not read
Transcription and text recognition run on a peer that you host — the desktop app or your own server — not on the phone and not on ours. Pair one and they catch up on their own.
Recording stopped when I locked the screen
Recording is meant to continue with the screen locked, with an indicator on the lock screen. If it stops, check that Memorious has microphone permission and that another app has not taken over audio (a call, for example). The part that was recorded is saved.
Something I shared into Memorious did not show up
Shared items land the next time you open the app. Open it, then pull to refresh the stream.
Refunds
The iOS app is sold by Apple, so refunds go through Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue them ourselves.
Bugs in the engine
The sync and storage engine is open source. If you can point to the problem, an issue at github.com/ponelat/memorious is welcome. Never paste journal content or a pairing ticket into a public issue.
